Pinhole Mini Instant Film Camera Building Set - DIY Kit for Self Assembly

I bought this camera hoping it would be something I could take photos with while still having the antique look. I was wrong. When I got it, it only ejected 5 of the 10 films in the cartridge. Then, after I buy a replacement mechanism for the camera, It only ejects 2. Save money and just go buy any other camera.

Update: since posting this review I was finally contacted and had a shipment sorted so that I received my item within plenty of time of the holiday. I also received an apology for the lack of communication which was my main issue. I'm leaving the prior review up for posterity, but updating two five stars to reflect the fact that my concerns were addressed and the product was received in time

Unfortunately, I am not able to provide a review for the product itself, as I have not received it. I ordered this product over a month ago as a Christmas gift for my partner, and I knew he would be very excited about it since he loves both film photography and building things. I put in an order for the kit as well as color and black and white film. After quite a long time of never receiving any notification that it had shipped, I sent in an email asking if everything was okay and when I might be able to expect my order. Another big chunk of time goes past, no response. I finally reach out over Instagram, just to get a reply days later that there is a stock issue with the color film, and once that comes in they will send my order. They also offer me the option of just refunding the color film, and just shipping out the camera and the black and white. I let them know that I would rather just get the camera shipped, and make sure to have it in time for Christmas, as I can get the film elsewhere. I also ask for any kind of time estimate as when I might be able to expect the product itself. I get no response to this, but just a notification that both of the films have been refunded, And still no information about when the kit would arrive. When I try to reach back out, all I am told is that there are delays and that it will ship in "the coming days". I asked for any details regarding a timeline, because I would like to know if I will get the present in time for Christmas. I continue to be left on read and have no responses. I've also tried calling and leaving voicemails, and had no calls back. I definitely understand that this is a small business, and that delays happen. I have tried to be very polite and understanding even though I am frustrated, since I recognized that there are things out of people's control that are likely happening behind the scenes. However, something that is in their control is the ability to communicate with me. It is incredibly frustrating to have to beg for answers and not have any information if the somewhat expensive thing that I have purchased as a gift will arrive in time, even though I ordered well before the holiday. I don't typically leave negative reviews, but unfortunately I can't really recommend this company if you would like to receive your order in any kind of timely manner. If they had just been communicative and honest with me about delays, and kept me updated as to when things would ship, there would be no problem. But unfortunately I feel like I'm going to have to find another gift, which is a real bummer because I was pretty excited about this one!

Bought it as a gift for my gf, who is really into photography, and she loved it. The order took a tad longer than expected, but who cares, it was worth the wait! Really good quality, sufficiently clear building instructions and I even got to help. Exposure time depending on the lighting conditions takes a bit of getting used to, but it's all the fun of this more vintage-style of photography.
