Snap-Secure Locks — Automatic Latching System
Our camera includes three automatic locks that snap shut on their own to keep everything securely in place. You’ll find them on the front and back covers. To prevent accidental openings, we designed a special latch system that’s as clever as it is simple.

It works in both hot and cold conditions without breaking.
Here’s what it’s made of:
The latch tab — A small wooden “nose” tucked into the lid. It sticks out just enough to catch onto the camera body and hold the lid closed.
The catch — A matching wooden part on the camera body. The latch tab hooks onto this to keep everything shut.
The silicone band — This is where the magic happens! The band acts like a spring, stretching when the latch is opened and pulling the tab back into place when released.
How it all works:
When you open the cover, you press the latch tab down with your finger, stretching the silicone band. When you let go, the band pulls the tab back up, and it clicks securely into the catch. Just like that, the camera is safely closed again.
