We hope this update finds you in good health and high spirits.

First and foremost, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your patience and unwavering support. We understand that the wait has been long, and we truly appreciate your trust in us. 

Please rest assured that we remain fully committed to bringing Jollylook Auto to life. If we ever had any intention of giving up, we would have done so long ago—but that is simply not who we are.

We are gradually resuming work on Jollylook Auto, and we’re excited to share that we’ve already achieved excellent exposure settings for outdoor photos — both with and without flash. The results look great. 

However, indoor photos are still coming out slightly overexposed. That’s why we are currently working on and testing the firmware to ensure everything runs smoothly and that indoor shots turn out just as well as those taken outdoors.

In our next update, we’ll be happy to show you some test photos taken in different lighting conditions outdoors.

At this stage, we are fine-tuning the Jollylook Auto and are thinking of including the following modes: Auto and Pro.

The Auto Mode means the shutter operates automatically—when you press the button, the shutter opens and closes by itself. This mode will have two settings: one with flash and one without flash.

We are also planning to introduce a Pro Mode (Manual), which can be activated by holding the button for a certain number of seconds. In this mode, the shutter will not close automatically. Instead, pressing the button once will open the shutter, and pressing it again will close it. Like Auto mode, Pro mode will have two settings: one with flash and one without flash.

We’d like to ask you, our beautiful backers, to help us make the Jollylook Auto the best and most user-friendly camera possible. To do this, we kindly ask you to complete the survey so that we can get your valuable feedback on these modes. If you have any suggestions or ideas for improvement, we'd also like to hear from you.

Once the firmware is finalised and thoroughly tested, we will manufacture the first 100 units and ship them to our earliest backers. After that, production will continue on a step-by-step basis, depending on our financial capabilities. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, we are unable to produce a large batch all at once. 

This month, we faced an additional challenge that caused a delay in our update: we were asked to vacate our current manufacturing facility. As a result, we had to find a new location  in a short period of time, which proved to be quite difficult. However, we’ve secured a new space that will be available starting in April. In the meantime, we’ve temporarily moved our laser cutting machines to the assembly facility. We expect to have all of our equipment moved to the new location by mid-April, at which point we'll be able to resume full production and continue our work without interruption.

We look forward to reconnecting with you in a month to unveil the survey results and update you on our progress. By then, he hope, our production will have already transitioned to our new location. At this stage, it is difficult to provide a precise shipping estimate, but please know that we are making steady progress and will keep you updated along the way.

We remain optimistic about the future of Jollylook and continue to do our best to succeed, no matter what.
