Thank you for making our project a reality! 

Our progress:

For the past three weeks, we have been preparing everything for mass production, and we are super excited to share our progress with you.

Great news! The laser cutting machines were delivered on Friday night!

Initially, we ordered two machines, but the supplier was super kind and gave us a great deal, so we got 4. 

We are now setting them up. 

We have already done some tests, and we are thrilled with the quality we are getting.

Next week we will build the exhaust pipes for the laser cutting machines, and after that, we will be ready to cut the Jollylook Pinhole DIY kits at scale.

After a few more iterations, here is what the final box design and instructions manual book look like:

Next steps?

A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.

Here's a quick rundown:

  • First, Kickstarter needs to transfer the funds so we have the money to make the orders, which will happen in the next 7 days.
  • Second, we must find out what reward you have chosen: The brown stained version or the Natural plywood version (that can easily be colored with markers or paint).
  • Third, we have to find out where we need to ship the pledges. We will be sending our BackerKit survey out to collect this information in about two weeks, we will post another update before we send it. Our ability to make your order depends on receiving this information. 

You do not need to make a login and password to fill out your survey,  just fill it out, and you’re all good to go! If you want to go back to review your info, just click on the link in your email again or input your email into our project page for another survey link.

If you prefer, you can just message us your info, but we STRONGLY SUGGEST using BackerKit as you will have the opportunity to add ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS to your current pledge and help us make the shipping process SEAMLESS!  This will help out our project tremendously, and help us get your rewards out to you quicker!

  • If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact us via direct messages.
